Preliminary Task - Editing

Below is a picture of our editing during the Preliminary Task. The majority of members in our group did parts of the editing, however some did more than others. Overall, the editing took around 2-3 lessons, so around 2-3 hours long in all. Some bits required more time than others as they required more effects and transitions compared to other clips.

 

As seen in the above screenshot we used Adobe Premiere Pro, previous to this we had only used this programme a few times for our GCSE project and also a few times obviously during A Level, to create posts such as the Continuity Editing post, in which we had to show examples of different rules in Continuity Editing.

 

We had to cut the majority of clips as they had bits which didn't fit and didn't make sense when the whole Preliminary Task was played. So overall, the process of editing all the Preliminary Task was fairly complex compared to other tasks we have had to do which involves forms of editing.
