Further explained in my Complexities of Editing blog post this is an image which hopefully shows how complex our editing timeline on Adobe Premiere Pro actually was due to all the Foley, titles, effects and music that was used in the course of editing it all.

Answer to Evaluation Question 5

How did you attract/address your audience?

Below is a Prezi explaining in detail how me and my group have attracted and addressed our target audience in our Media Opening Sequence.

Questionnaires filled in by our Target Audience

Below is some images of a few questionnaires we received from our target audience, the feedback we gained aided us when making alterations to our Final Cut, as we were able to tell certain things which perhaps didn't need to be included because at the time of our Pre-Cut we needed to cut down on time as we were way over the maximum limit. Our questionnaires were actually extremely useful when it came to shortening our Pre-Cut, improving and actually finalising it.

Feedback from Audience on our Final Cut of our Opening Sequence

This is a video we created post our Final Cut, and this is feedback we got from our target audience after they had actually watched a Final Cut. From this we were able to ask if the errors we made in regards to our Pre-Cut were actually improved on, and to see if we had excelled in any other areas that might have simply been mediocre beforehand in the Pre-Cut.

Answer to Evaluation Question 1

In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?

Below is an embedded version of a Mindmap I created on the ExamTime website which answers the majority of Evaluation Question 1.

As a group who have collectively watched multiple Thriller Films we all knew that the soundtrack, that plays throughout the almost entirety of the Opening Sequence, and the overall sound in the Opening Sequence, including Foley, Speech and Sound Effects, had to fit into the Thriller Genre and we couldn't use a piece of sound which would make the audience question the genre. Our group also knew that if we had an engaging soundtrack then the audience themselves would be more engaged and will be more likely to want to watch the rest of the Opening Sequence. From watching other Thriller Opening Sequences, not only did myself and my group know that a well edited and cut soundtrack would captivate the audience but we also discovered that when a soundtrack is edited and reassembled correctly to fit the clips from our Opening Sequence then the overall quality enhances drastically. Rather than embedding my own version of the Ultimatum Soundtrack off of SoundCloud I have decided to embed Daniel's version because he has already taken the liberty of uploading it for one of his blog posts.

Below this text is a voice over I created analysing some of the narrative, enigma and characters featured throughout the Opening Sequence. I have used clips from the Pre-Cut of our Opening Sequence and added a voice over which I recorded using Audacity.
